Enter a date of birth to get your exact age in years, months and days, plus your age in total months, weeks and days, the weekday you were born and a countdown to your next birthday.
How exact age is counted
Full years are counted first, then full months, then the remaining days. Leap years are included automatically. You can also change the “as of” date to find someone’s age on a past or future date — handy for school cutoffs, retirement or insurance.

Frequently asked questions
How is age calculated for someone born on February 29?
In non-leap years, most legal systems treat March 1 (or February 28 in some places) as the birthday. This calculator counts the full year on March 1.
Can I calculate age at a future date?
Yes. Change the “Age as of” date to any date.
Why are the months and days not exact multiples?
Months have different lengths, so total days divided by 30 is not the same as calendar months.
